Hey hockey fans, David Littman here with an update on some changes to the EASHL to get ready for the play-offs. We have recently released the second patch for NHL 09. The patches fixed a lot of issues that were out there. We appreciate your patience while we iron out some of the bumps that come along with a brand new complicated feature like the EASHL. Our goal with the EASHL has always been to simulate real life team-based hockey where players can become online superstars. The League has become so competitive that some teams found ways to win that we didn t plan for. That was a big reason for the patches we have put out. In the NHL, games played during the last month or two of the season can mean the difference between winning the Presidents trophy or missing the play-offs. The EASHL will be no different. The stretch run to the EASHL Championship starts tonight. We will be condensing the leaderboards starting tonight so each game over the next couple of months can mean the difference between making the play-offs or getting out your golf clubs. We are still honoring all of the hard work that tens of thousands of teams have accomplished. The top teams will still be at the top, but there will be a much smaller difference between first division teams and lower division teams. The best teams from now on will stay at the top or can rise from out of nowhere to make the play-offs. Keep your eyes peeled for more info regarding the play-offs, but in the meantime...good luck to all teams.
